Pat Rideout is a Sales Representative from Royal LePage Meadowtowne Realty in Milton, Ontario.   She has been in real estate for over 5 years now, having come from a sales and marketing background. As a long term resident of Milton, in the region of Halton, Pat has seen tremendous change in our small town, but it remains a wonderful place to reside in and raise a family.

Pat's interest and dedication to Milton is shown through her volunteer work with numerous local organizations including our Canada Day Committee .  Each day is like an adventure and being a realtor is a perfect fit as no two days are the same.  Pat welcomes the opportunity to assist her clients in finding the perfect home or marketing their existing property.

A little about Milton - Historic Milton, Ontario

Milton was first settled by Jasper Martin and his wife Sarah. Both had immigrated from Newcastle England and first settled the property which is now Milton in 1822.

At that time the area was largely marshland and heavy forest with the Sixteen Mile creek flowing naturally through the centre of what is now Milton. Jasper saw the potential of this creek and managed to dam it creating an artificial mill pond (pictured below).

In these early years the mill became the center of settlement in Milton. Newcomers to the area naturally settled in this small hamlet that became known as Martin's Mills. 

As our small town grew it soon became known as Mill Town, and later Milton.
